Prologue: It all starts with a weddingby ~YumiShirayuki

For the longest time marriages had been forbidden for Jedi knights, and masters. Love was encouraged; however, passion was frowned upon in fear that it would become a path to the dark side. Despite knowing the consequences and the risk of being thrown from the jedi council, a chiss called Gumierlu had fell in love with the princess from the planet Csilla; his home planet.

They had clandestine meetings in the shadows of everyone else. Their relationship was a secret from the council, from the princess’s family, and from everyone. But Gumierlu did not want to be considered a traitor to those who he considered his new family.

After careful deliberation, the council decided to allow Gumierlu to marry the princess with the condition that the princess step down and became a senator. They needed leverage in the republic and the princess was to represent the jedi’s voice. The princess agreed to the treaty and a wedding was to take place between her and Gumierlu.

The wedding took place in Csilla. The whole council, the senator’s family, and friends were invited. It was all going smoothly. Gumierlu's brother mat had even accepted to act as priest. One thing no one predicted was for the war to begin that very night.

Gumierlu's former brother Za'ath Chra appeared at the wedding just when the couple was about to kiss. His lightsaber ready and his eyes thirsting for blood. His companion Vizane Kavalheime by his side. The dark lord did not want the union to happen and would do anything to stop the princess from becoming senator. Chra’s mission, to either exterminate the jedi race or kill the princess.

So it begins….
